My second lake                                                  ---------------------------------------------------------------------- My lake behind my apartment building is green and serene. I never got to go out in it or taste or touch its waters on my feet or on my face or in my hands. But through the window pane of glass I've looked out on it from time to time and it's connected me back to home to the wide expanse of water behind that was mine all mine. And through its flowing form through its ripples through space and time it has connected me to other things and for that I am thankful. And I will miss you lake
